OCULUCIS is a light art installation that takes shape through two monumental luminous eyes, each with a diameter of around three meters. The eyes gaze back at the viewer and invite reflection on what it truly means to see. The work is created by Hermes “Hem” Mangialardo — a cartoonist, light artist, and 3D videomapper.

Decided is an inflatable sculpture where the word “decide” multiplies in reflective surfaces. It reveals how perspective shapes meaning — and how clarity can sometimes emerge precisely through distortion and uncertainty.

Pendule Lunaire is a light artwork that takes the viewer on an imaginative journey between the Earth and the Moon. The piece moves like a pendulum, showing how a trip that normally takes days can be experienced in seconds at the speed of light. Darkness and November atmosphere turn the experience into something both meditative and sensory.

The Sunset Garden on interaktiivinen audiovisuaalinen installaatio, joka tuo kesäistä tunnelmaa, lämpöä ja romantiikkaa keskelle marraskuun pimeyttä. Sen ytimessä loistaa 5 metriä leveä ja 2,5 metriä korkea keinotekoinen aurinko, joka hehkuu pehmeää mutta voimakasta pinkkiä valoa. The Sunset Garden is an interactive audiovisual installation that brings warmth, romance, and a touch of summer into the darkness of November. At its heart shines an artificial sun, 5 meters wide and 2.5 meters high, glowing with a soft yet powerful pink light. Motion sensors activate nature sounds, creating an experience that invites visitors to capture their silhouettes against the vibrant backdrop.

Stone Echoes is a site-specific projection mapping installation that transforms a 9-meter-high stone waterfall in Botania’s garden into a living canvas of light and motion. Developed in dialogue with the nearby Sunset Garden, the work weaves digital imagery into the natural contours of the rock, creating a meditative visual narrative that shifts with the rhythms of the environment.

Water and stone merge into a dynamic stage, where light makes the invisible visible and turns nature itself into an ever-changing performance.

Kari Kolan Reflections muuttaa Botanian kasvihuoneen näyttämöksi, jossa valo ja varjo kietoutuvat jatkuvasti eläväksi ja muuttuvaksi kudelmaksi. Kasvien heijastukset ja varjot, läpikuultavat pinnat ja valon taittuminen luovat ulkopuolelta katsottuna illuusion kolmiulotteisuudesta. Reflections on meditatiivinen ja poeettinen kokemus, joka korostaa ihmisen ja luonnon suhdetta, hetkellisyyttä ja jatkuvaa muutosta.

Kari Kola’s Reflections transforms Botania’s greenhouse into a stage where light and shadow intertwine in a constantly shifting tapestry. Plant reflections and shadows, combined with translucent surfaces and refracted light, create the illusion of three-dimensionality when viewed from outside. Reflections is both meditative and poetic, emphasizing the relationship between humans and nature, the fleetingness of presence, and the beauty of constant change.
